Answers

  1. Who Qualifies to be a Registered Massage Therapist?
Education and examination of a Registered Massage Therapist is regulated by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. A Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) is licensed under the Regulated Health Professionals Act (RHPA) which also licenses physicians, nurses, dentists and chiropractors.

  2. Who Pays for Your Massage Therapy Treatment?
Massage Therapy is not covered under OHIP. Many Private insurance companies provide full or partial coverage under their Extended Health Care plans (most require a physician's referral).
